The problem
An Established Business With a Website That Was Working Against It
Atlantas Marine has been delivering subsea inspection and ROV operations for over 20 years, offering underwater inspection using inspection-class ROVs, equipment sales of its own product lines and third-party video/camera systems, equipment rental, training and repairs. Despite that track record, its online presence didn’t reflect it.
Â
No Clear Positioning: Atlantas Marine’s international reach was limited, and there was no consistent story tying together its inspection services, equipment sales, rental, training and repair offer into a single, credible proposition.
A Website That Wasn’t Working: The existing site brought in essentially no leads. Traffic was low, conversions were close to zero, and the site simply didn’t reflect the standard of the business behind it.
Inconsistent Visuals: Branding, photography and messaging varied across touchpoints, undermining the professionalism and technical credibility the business had earned through two decades of operational work.
Our solution
A Brand, Website and Content Programme Built Around Operational Credibility
We rebuilt Atlantas Marine’s brand and digital presence from the ground up, then moved into an ongoing retainer to keep building on it, treating the site launch as a foundation for growth rather than a one-off project.
Brand Strategy & Identity:
We refreshed Atlantas Marine’s brand system (logo, visual identity and messaging) to reflect the business as a serious, experienced subsea specialist rather than a generic equipment reseller. The aim was a brand that could stand alongside international competitors many times its size.
Website Design & Development:
We designed and built a new website structured around how buyers actually think: what Atlantas Marine offers, who it’s for, why the business is trusted, and what to do next. The site brings equipment sales, inspection services, rental, training and repairs together under one clear proposition, replacing a site that had been actively costing the business leads. The build included an e-commerce store, resources portal, and training booking portal.
Photography, Videography & 3D Animation:
We produced photography and video of Atlantas Marine’s ROVs and teams in action, including operational trial and demonstration footage such as the Brest EOD trials, alongside 3D animation to help explain equipment and capability clearly. Showing the equipment performing in real conditions, not just on a spec sheet, was central to reinforcing the “we use it, not just sell it” message.
Content & Social Media Strategy:
We built and now run an ongoing content and social programme spanning top-to-bottom-funnel content, from brand and capability awareness through to specific project and product content, designed to build recognition in a specialist market where Atlantas Marine competes against much larger international players.
Digital Marketing:
Alongside the website launch, we’ve continued to develop Atlantas Marine’s wider digital marketing as part of a rolling retainer to keep driving qualified traffic and enquiries. We’ve paired this with the graphic design and print collateral the business needs beyond the website itself, including brochures and exhibition stand artwork for industry events such as Undersea Defence Technology and Global Offshore Wind, so the digital presence and the materials clients see in person stay on the same consistent brand.
The results
From No Leads to a Growing International Pipeline
Since the new website launched in May 2025, Atlantas Marine has gone from a site that generated almost no engagement to one driving consistent traffic, enquiries and brand visibility across international markets.
~20x
Increased Website Traffic
Website traffic increased by an estimated 20x within the first six months of the new site going live, and the site has gone on to attract over unique 16,000 visits in its first year.
~50x
Conversion Growth
Enquiries through the website have grown from close to zero before the relaunch to roughly 20x that starting point within the first year, turning the site into an active source of leads rather than a passive brochure.
4x Follower Growth, 600,000+ Impressions
Atlantas Marine's social channels have grown from around 1,500 to over 7,000 followers in the past year, with content reaching more than 600,000 impressions on LinkedIn alone. Engagement levels are holding up strongly against international competitors with follower counts many times larger, a sign the content strategy is earning attention on quality, not just budget.
Strengthened Market Presence
Beyond the numbers, Atlantas Marine now has a consistent, credible presence to support conversations in subsea inspection, offshore renewables, defence, nuclear and marine contracting, sectors where the business is actively pursuing growth.
Useful lessons for businesses
A Website Should Convert, Not Just Exist
An established, credible business can still be let down by a website that doesn't work commercially. Rebuilding around clear user journeys (what we offer, who it's for, why choose us, what's next) turned Atlantas Marine's site from a passive presence into a genuine sales channel.
Show the Work, Don't Just Describe It
A well-designed website can significantly increase traffic and engagement. An engaging and informative website is crucial for attracting and retaining clients.
Consistent Content Compounds
Steady, full-funnel social content, rather than sporadic posting, is what allowed Atlantas Marine's following and engagement to grow to a level that competes with much larger international competitors. The gains built month on month rather than overnight.
