Off-Road Film for the Suzuki Jimny

Suzuki GB wanted a short film that showed the Jimny doing what it was built for. We filmed it through water, along woodland tracks and up onto the coast, and graded the whole piece in black and white.

The brief

Making a Small 4x4 Look Capable

The Jimny is small, and people underestimate it off-road. The film had to show it handling rough ground with ease.

01

Short format

Thirty seconds for social channels, so every shot had to count.

02

Water and mud

Ford crossings and spray look great but put camera kit at risk.

03

Standing out

Car films can look alike. This one needed a look of its own.

Our solution

Off-Road Driving, Filmed Up Close

We filmed from low angles and close to the action, then gave the film a single strong look in the grade.

1

Water crossings

Low shots of the Jimny driving through a ford and under a stone bridge, with wheel close-ups and spray.

2

Coastal finish

The film ends with the Jimny on a headland above the bay.

3

Black and white grade

A monochrome grade gives the film a distinct, timeless feel.
